Maggie Use to Be A Biker!

When I met Maggie she was called Daisey and was chained to an abandon house in Lincoln Heights. She was this little messy terrier full of love and covered in dirt. When we locked eyes it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! The owner of the property drove out cut the chain and handed me my new best friend.

I took this little ball of dirt, hair and awful smell to my friends backyard. I watched her run around and check everything. As we all watched her run around, the question in the air was, "What are you going to call her?" I thought Frito because she was tan and smelled like dirty feet and or ass. Yoda came across my mind because of her huge ears. Then she ran up to me and stared at me. Her eyes just full of love and happiness at that moment it popped in my head, Margaret! No Maggie! Maggie felt right, sounded good and she came closer to me when I called her that name. I named her after my grandma! My grandma was all about love and she gave me nothing but happiness and she was my best friend!! Daisy was then christened Maggie M. Williams!

This is being shared with you to give you a background of my new biker buddy. Most dogs run when they hear the rumble and roar of a large motorcycle. Not Maggie! It stared with my bicycle, I placed her in my messager bag and road around town with her. She LOVED it! I positioned her so that her little tan furry face was over my left shoulder. Naturally when the motorcycle came into lives I tried the same system. It worked!

That's all I am going to share right now. The next blog will be about how I got Maggie use to the the Shadow.
